Provided by YP.comI just went to Talia’s Steakhouse to order dinner to go. While I was waiting for my food to cook, I sat down at the bar and had a beer. They have a great selection of different beers both on tap and bottled. I contemplated getting a glass of wine because their list is so extensive, but I decided to stick with beer. So if you are a wine person, Talia’s has a great selection ;) The reason I don’t mind waiting for my food sitting at Talia’s bar is because there are always sports featured on the TV and every bartender that works with is very nice.

Provided by YP.comRecently moved to Manhattan and have been exploring the kosher restaurants on the Upper West Side. The one that has definitely stuck out the most so far is Talia's Steakhouse. Not only was my lamb burger delicious (and HUGE!), but there was a really great jazz duo playing live and the restaurant had a very romantic vibe. Great place to bring a date.

Provided by YP.comI actually loved the meat from this place. The only thing is that I find it a bit overpriced for an "Steakhouse".

Provided by YPmobileThey claim to be a steakhouse yet their meat was expensive and not good. We asked for a medium fillet mignon which was well done. In addition they forgot part of our order and when we asked for the bill it was incorrect. Same thing happened to the couple next to us, we swore never to go again

Provided by YP.comCelebrated my daughter’s birthday at Talia’s Steakhouse last night. We live in Central Jersey so we don’t travel too often for kosher restaurants in Manhattan. Our expectations were set high for a night in the city. Suffice to say, Talia’s exceeded our expectations. There was live music and we got to sit in their sidewalk café and enjoy the beautiful weather. We all shared the Fry Trio basket to start, which was a great choice. My prime rib was excellent. My wife and daughter loved their Veal Scaloppini. Our 6 year old couldn’t get enough of his chicken fingers. For dessert, the wait staff brought out warm chocolate soufflé with a birthday candle and sang Happy Birthday with help from the live musician. It was a perfect way to end the night. Would definitely be back again.

Provided by YP.comI love Talia's for their weekly Friday night Shabbat dinners. So great to have a kosher restaurant in Manhattan to go to when you're in a squeeze for a Shabbat meal when most kosher restaurants are closed. For someone like me with more of an Eastern European background, they sure have a unique menu with strange sounding dishes such as moussaka and sambousak, but they are absolutely delicious. Plenty of food for a reasonable price. And they've got holiday meals, too! Even thinking about taking some friends for one of the Passover Seders this year. I'm sure it will be nothing but superb.

Provided by YP.comWhen I first walked into the restaurant, I was greeted with smiles, candles, and roses on each table. I got a lamb shank and my friend got the prime rib, both were cooked to perfection. The vairety of middle eastern food was incredible, and the service was sublime. The live music just topped off the night for us. I would highly recomend Talia's to anyone wanting a great food, and in general, a great night out.

Provided by YP.comAfter a long day of shopping with a fussy six year old and an even fussier four year old, I knew if I didn’t get food in them soon, I was gonna be in a giant headache of trouble. Talia’s was the closest kosher restaurant, so I decided it was a good time to check it out. Of course, when we got there, my kids wanted nothing but hot dogs. This made me nervous as I was looking over the menu and saw no option for hot dogs. Luckily, the waitress let me know that there would be no problem getting hot dogs for my kids. She brought them out almost immediately, and I thanked her for being a lifesaver. The burger I ordered was very tasty, as well.

Provided by YP.comAte a prepaid Friday night Shabbat dinner at Talia’s with my family. It was a cool experience to eat in a restaurant on Shabbat! It was more than a regular Shabbat dinner with zmirot, Kiddush and family time…The food was great and the atmosphere of others celebrating Shabbat around us really enhanced our experience. Thank you

Provided by YP.comA friend and I were just hanging out, and it happened to be Cinco de Mayo. We were walking past Talia’s and noticed they had a special menu for the occasion. Although we hadn’t planned, we decided to stop for an early dinner. At first we felt sort of funny eating Mexican food out at a “Kosher” style steakhouse, but we figured the menu looked so appetizing that we would give it a try. I’m happy we did. We had a chip and guacamole dip appetizer and a few main dishes that certainly were decent attempts to imitate authentic Mexican foods. We certainly found it to be a memorable experience – a Mexican fiesta at a kosher steakhouse!

Provided by YP.comThe other day the weather was finally beautiful, and my friend and I were walking past Talia’s outdoor café, so we decided to have an early dinner. We had an extremely pleasant experience. It was not too crowded yet, but there was a mixed young crowd, couples and some business men, and everybody seemed to be having a good time. The service was extremely good, and our waitress took our order the minute we finished looking over our menus and brought our drinks right away. The food was served nice and hot, and we were so full after we finished that we almost didn’t have room for desert, but we couldn’t refuse a chocolate soufflé! I felt very satisfied with my experience at Talia’s and will definitely be back many more times!
