Teja Kapoor,MD is a graduate of New York Medical College and completed her internalmedicine residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Shecompleted her Rheumatology fellowship at Columbia-NY Presbyterian, beforejoining full-time academic faculty. Dr. Kapoor is an Assistant Professor ofMedicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and theProgram Director for the Columbia Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program. Dr. Kapoor has clinical and researchinterests in Sjogren’s Disease and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), withyears of experience in managing patients with complex multi-organ involvementof their autoimmune disease. She has lectured on SLE and Sjogren’s Disease atregional, national, and international conferences, with a multitude of bookchapters and peer-reviewed article publications on the topics of autoimmunediseases. She is the recipient of the 2023-2024 DanielV.
