Tertulia
359 Avenue Of The Americas, New York, NY 10014
Inspired by the charming sidrerias, or cider houses, of Asturias in northern Spain, Chef Seamus Mullen's award-winning Tertulia opened in August 2011 in New York's West Village. Known for its warm, casual, inviting spirit, Tertulia both honors and innovates upon Spanish culinary tradition, featuring both traditional tapas such as croquetas, fried shishito peppers and tostas, to inventive small plates with a focus on vegetables and seafood, and family-style platters for sharing, including our much celebrated paellas and chuletón. There is a special focus on grilling and smoking, thanks to our wood-fired grill which allows the chefs to do everything from grill meats and vegetables, to lightly smoking fish, sauces and more.
Tertulia received 2 stars from The New York Times, was a James Beard Award finalist for Best New Restaurant in 2012, and was recently awarded Best New Restaurant by Citysearch New York.
