Tutors Ink is a supportive resource for private and public schools. We offer personalized tutoring in a variety of subjects for high school and middle school students, grades 3-12. Our comprehensive program provides individualized tutoring in the following academic areas: Math (algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and calculus), Science (biology, chemistry, and physics), English (literature and composition), Foreign Language (French, Spanish, Latin and Hebrew), Reading (comprehension, phonics, and fluency), and Homework Help (organizational, study, and time management skills and daily homework assignments). We also provide comprehensive SAT, SAT II, PSAT, SHSAT tutoring and AP exam preparation. Our experienced tutors are highly competent in their subject areas; they also motivate their students and inspire them with confidence. We provide tutoring for students in their homes or in one of our conveniently located offices: in Manhattan on 34th Street and in the Ditmas Park section of Brooklyn. Fees range from $60 to $150 for a one-hour tutoring session. It has been our experience that receiving help early in the semester is advantageous and highly valuable for students. Research indicates that it is better to remain current with one's workload than to try to catch up later in the semester. Cramming is not the way students learn and retain information.
