I would recommend this school to anyone looking to start martial arts.



I was looking for a martial arts school in the Bay Area - I did my homework online and through the yellow pages to find out what style of martial arts would suit me and which shool I should go to. I visited the Moore's website (www.mooresmartialarts.com) and was impressed by their philosophy and the Shou Shu style. I went to the school in Newark and was impressed by what I saw. The teaching style was different to other schools I'd visited and focused more on real life than theory - how would you actually defend yourself - which you don't necessarily get from just "going through the motions".



I would recommend this school - and my wife has since started, and my kids will be going too once they are old enough.
