Rainbow Math is an afterschool math enrichment program built on the foundations of Vedic Mathematics. Vedic Mathematics is an ancient form of math wrapped around 16 simple Vedic principles or formulae. Its coherent nature allows children to learn mental math easily and perform calculations with great speed and accuracy. At Rainbow Math, children from grades 2 to 12 can learn math in a way that’s easy to understand and will help them with more complex learning in the years to come. There are seven levels in the Rainbow Math curriculum, just like there are seven colors in the rainbow.Children ages 7 and up may join the program at the Red Series Level (Basic Arithmetic skills) and progress through different levels of the curriculum. Red, Orange and Yellow series includes all levels of Vedic math that complements the regular school curriculum up to grade 6. Green series will cover grade 6 and 7 Pre-Algebra. Blue series will include Middle school and high school Algebra I. Indigo series will cover high school Geometry. At the Violet series level, students will learn high school Algebra II and Precalculus. Students can start at any level, and help is offered year-round. Rainbow Math worksheets are uniquely designed to maintain simplicity and minimize distractions to better enhance concentration, clarity and calculation speed.
