It starts with the secretary Melissa, who has zero empathy and compassion for patient care. Sure she takes information and answers phone calls but absolutely no understanding for the needs of the patient. Our encounter was not pleasant. Also, the physician on Tuesday refused to see me because I was 30 minutes late for my appointment due to an accident and traffic on highway 95. I even waited until the last patient was seen, for care. You see I was traveling from New Jersey. I explain this situation to Melissa and told her I took the day off from work to receive treatment. Also, that I didn't feel well and treatment is needed. After explaining my situation to her treatment was rejected! Melissa states, "You need to reschedule"!
The physician that was on duty Tuesday I never saw. I was told it was Dr. Helen McCullough. She never came out of her office to talk to me. Where is the client center approach? I can't wrap my hands around the refusal of treatment due to lateness. Where is ethical protocol?
I would never suggest this facility to anyone. I hope this review will deter someone in need for patient care to go somewhere else! This should never happen again to someone else!
