Jeffrey R. Boyd, M.D. is a comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmologist who can provide a full spectrum of eye care services. He specializes in small incision cataract surgery and the surgical management of glaucoma. He is also LASIK certified. Dr. Boyd, a Delaware native, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and chemistry. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, and he stayed in Philadelphia to complete his transitional medicine internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center. After acquiring his medical degree, he went on to train at the prestigious Georgetown University Center for Sight and was elected and served as Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has received many other distinctions and honors throughout his career. He previously worked for ophthalmology practices in Wilmington, Delaware and Chester County, Pennsylvania. Dr. Boyd is seeing patients for a multitude of ophthalmic conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, LASIK, Visian ICL, and RLE. He performs surgery at the Cataract and Laser Center. His hobbies include golfing and spending time with his family.
