Well maintained gym with nice equipment. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I can really say. We were there 3 years and finally decided we'd had enough. The owner/head coach Slava and his wife are the most unfriendly people I have ever met. Slava's idea of encouragement is to tell the kids to just give up on their dreams because they'll never succeed. He frequently criticizes the girls but does not give any suggestions as to how to improve or work on the skills. He truly doesn't seem to care about any of the kids. They choose meets that are very far away and expensive such as Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. Since his and his family's travel expenses are paid from the dues in the parent assoc, I felt like we were just paying for his and his wife's vacations. The meet in Puerto Rico was not a USAG sanctioned event so the gymnasts scores didn't count. Of course, he never bothered to tell any of the parents this. His wife Nicole as been nicknamed "Nicold". That sums her up!
