seems as though NO one can get the billing straight. Just had a call from a collection agency(Simons) re: service 1/31/21. WAS TRANSPORTED TO REHAB ON A STRETCHER NOT a wheelchair as it was stated. My vascular surgeon wrote a letter STATING to correct this as I was ON A STRETCHER. Yes, Medicare does not cover wheelchair transport. Somewhere along the line someone screwed up and I AM the ONE left getting the harassment! This is totally unacceptable and you wonder WHY people get angry!!!!No one answers a phone at GEM either!! NOT HAPPY!!
