The worst place EVER , the lady that did my hair braided my hair SUPER TIGHT purposely and I hate sores and bumps all over my head , Amina saw this and laughed about it . I paid 70$ for my hair and had to take it out in a week . what human being does this to a person . someone who doesn't care and jus wants our money . They are mean inconsiderate people . they also ask for money first so they can mess up ur hair and then still keep their money . I now go to flokay their great and also essence in e.o. please dont come here .

Stay away from this place. You'll regret ever coming here. These hairstylists are absolutely terrible, they talk on the phone constantly, demean their clientele. They're just completely unprofessional. Plus, they will ruin the hair that you have on your head to have fresh braids that will only look new for about a week. The price that you pay for coming here will be no edges, damaged hair, paying for an overpriced style, rudeness and arrogance, and your TIME. There are many hair salons in Newark, so I repeat, do not come here.

I was very disappointed in this shop. The only good thing was when I arrived someone started on my hair immediatedly. I later found out that that person was only to do the back and someone else was to finish the front of my hair. Apparently, the other person was extremely busy and could not do my front. The person who started my hair did about 98% of it and someone else did the front row only which consisted of my edges. I left out looking like a Sumo wrestler. After about 1 week that front row of braids fell out...taking my edges with it and leaving me a head full of braids that looks like a ameteur did them. There are horrible knots at the base of the braids, some that appears to just be tangled in my hair. Now I know why this person was assigned to do only the back. I am soooo disappointed!!!! Will never go back!!
