July 2016: Front sidewalk replaced. Less than a year later: 1) We're finding that the final surface coat that was applied is wearing away faster than expected and is already looking worn. 2) There are corners and edges that have lost chunks; they appear to be the same mixture as the surface coat.... I suspect it may have been a bad batch? Winter was especially mild, so I would have expected it to still look pretty much brand-new. Issues we didn't address before final payment was made: 1) The area by the garage side door was specifically requested to have been elevated from the original height, but due to miscalculations, it was actually lowered. 2) There is an unsightly pocket on one side of the steps that was brushed off as "it happens", instead of offering to patch it. 3) I know it can be difficult to work around what a client has around the work area, but one employee kept trampling some of the flowers in the flower bed, even after being asked specifically to try to avoid it. Contractor was emailed June 14th 2017, and then emailed again June 30th 2017, with no reply to either. I submitted a complaint through BBB.org, and they did not respond to that, either.
