James Medley, M.D., earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his medical degree from the UF College of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in family medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.Medley's professional interests include medical education; office-based procedures; dermatology and dermoscopy; pediatrics and adolescent medicine; and preventive medicine. Additionally, he served on the curriculum committee, the academic committee and the clinic improvement committee of Wake Forest University's Family Medicine Residency Program.Medley is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, Gold Humanism Honor Society, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, . He has given numerous Morning Report presentations through the Wake Forest Family Medicine Residency Program and has delivered ten invited presentations.
