Until 2013 I had had my mammograms at the former Weborn Clinic, downtown. The personnel were great and I felt positive about my treatment there. In 2013 I was called and told that I needed to go to the Breast Center at Deaconess for a recheck. Breast cancer was now in the picture. I've continued there and was very pleased with staff and treatment. This year I opted to have my mammogram at the Women's Hospital Breast Center....it is so very convenient. It is a very nice facility and my technician was great..i was told to get dressed and Dr.Whitehead would read the images and get back with me. I was called back for a re-do. Pretty scarey, esp. After you've been through cancer. Then I was told he needed to compare with last years results but they would call that afternoon. I heard nothing! Longest day and night I can remember. I feel strongly that I would have had that call if I had had my mammogram at either of the other locations. I am still very fragile, having been there once.

This is my second time I have had a mammogram.The first time I went to mid west,this time I went here and I have to say it was the worst experience I have ever had..Mid West did a great job they had my records,the nurse was gentle and explained everything to me.Today I went to The Woman's breast center and they couldn't fined my records.They told me they couldn't fax anything to my doctor till they had them but they wouldn't call my doctor so I had to call my doctor not once but twice..I get in to the exam and the lady was rude and didn't explain to me on what to do,she hurt me and gave me bruises..I am in complete shock on how they treat you and I have good insurance so there for I will not step foot in that door again..
