An indoor place that is not the largest, but we have a good time. You’re not out in the sun all day and they change the field around enough to keep it interesting. The staff is really helpful and fair with all the patrons. My son and I hang out there occasionally and we feel it is a great place for us, that is relatively close by.

So much fun! Great field, great players, and great refs! Love going there!

This field is good, yet has some issues. The main issue is the ten foot rule. Patriot Airsoft is a close quarters battle field, and many engagements happen near or within ten feet. The rule at this field when you encounter someone within ten feet is to shout “bang-bang!” to eliminate them. This seems good on paper, but in the field when they are blasting music from the sound system, bbs are flying past your head, players and referees are yelling, and Thunder Bs are exploding in your room, you may not hear this phrase. Another situation is when someone tries to blind bang-bang, which is equivalent to blind fire, or when someone tries to bang-bang another player and their firearm’s muzzle is not even lined up on the target.

One issue that is prevalent is bang-bang cheating, where one player has the drop on another player, he or she shoots or bang-bangs them and the “dead” player says “barrel to barrel, we’re both out.” If an argument ensues the referees will just call both players out without even trying to determine what happened. The dilemma is that the bang-bang rule leads to arguments over who got who first and cheating. However, this field does have a good location and a great field layout. Both starting sides are evenly balanced with certain bunkers and angles.
