I ate lunch at the Newbury Park location today with my two daughters and my great grand daughter.



I noticed an off-putting smell as we entered the place but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. it was not an attractive odor.



I ordered the salmon filet with a salad.



Once I bit into the salmon a light bulb went off as to what the smell was. It was the rancid oil they used for cooking that day and the odor of it permeated the entire restaurant.



The salmon was way overcooked and after two small bites of the fish, having tasted the rancid oil, I just put the plate aside and I was done.



I had to brush my teeth three times when I got home. Even then, I couldn't get the taste of the rancid oil out of my mouth.



If whom ever cooked that salmon would like a lesson in how to cook salmon, let me know. I'd be happy to stop by and give you a lesson ... as if you would even care.
