Trend Graphics story is a unique one. Steve DiLallo who is the founder of the company was Introduced to the screen printing world while owning a custom motorcycle accessory and repair shop in Thousand Oaks, California. A customer of his was a local screen printer and was looking for a location to move his printing facility. Steve had sonic space above his shop and rented that out to the screen printer. Steve was always interested in art and graphics and his interest in screen printing was sparked by the new tenant above his shop. After several years, Steve decided that he'd had enough of the motorcycle business and decided to sell. What to do next was the question. After looking at various other opportunities he decided to get into the screen printing business himself. He read books, hired a local printer to educate him on screen printing techniques and eventually bought a small, part time screen printing business with 1 employee, in Newbury Park, California. The business really started to pick up once people realized that this was now a full time operation and that somebody was actually answering the phones! That was 1987.
