I don't recommend buying a Lester Building at all, I bought one and just weeks ago had to pay an Amish Crew to come in and fix the mistakes and Poor workmanship on it. Lester shorted me on roof dripstop that I paid them for, Lester shorted me on 3/4" exterior Plywood that I paid them for and they incorrectly engineered the exterior of my bldg. Lester also provided me with one of their Lester Bldgs. Dealer/Builders from out of state and said he did good work, which turned out to be a lie. This Lester Dealer/Builders name is C&C Construction, Willis Childers is the builder/owner and after he built my bldg. and left town and we had our first rain I found that I had 25 leaks in my roof, I had puddles all over inside my bldg. and before this Lester Builder left town he told me if he had to come back for any reason it would be a $500 minimum for me. Well I wasn't going to pay him to fix his mistakes so I got up on the roof myself and fixed all the leaks and what I found was that this Lester Builder had installed the roof screws missing the roof purlins and some screws were too short. I found out later that this Lester Builder should have come back for free and fixed my roof. It took me 2 years to finish and move into my bldg. at which time we started noticing more serious problems, to the point that I finally called in an Amish Crew to check out my bldg. who found problems with it, but before I paid them to fix it I first called out the Lester Bldgs. Regional Manager who was shocked at my bldg. problems, but after he spoke with Lester Bldgs. Upper Management he told me that Lester Bldgs. doesn't feel any responsibility for my bldg. issues and will not be helping me, oh and your one year warranty is up. I at that point paid the Amish to come in and fix my Lester Bldg and the following is what they found: 8 Roof Purlins not nailed at all, they actually pulled one up and out to show me, which would explain why on windy nights it sounded like my roof was going to blow off. A lot of soffit only had one staple holding it on and when the staples tried going thru the steel they bent only allowing 3/8" to go into the facia board which would explain the rattling we were hearing. Gaps/Openings in the roof valleys where wind had blown my attic insulation away in those areas, rain blowing in too. Facia boards barely on the truss and nails missing the trusses. We had to sister nailers on the sides of some trusses. 2 bird blocks not installed, but the ones that were installed didn't have even 1 nail in them holding them in place, I personally screwed every one of them off myself. Facia cover not cut to fit properly causing the ends to dip down an inch. When I turned Lester Bldgs. into the Better Business Bureau they responded by putting most of the blame on their Lester Bldgs. Dealer/Builder, you know, the one they recommended to me as doing good work? This Lester Builder definitely did poor workmanship on my bldg., but its Lester Bldgs. that shorted me on dripstop and 3/4" exterior plywood and incorrectly engineered the exterior of my bldg., but they feel no responsibility for any of my bldg. issues? If anyone is interested in buying a Lester Bldg. I would recommend thinking about what happened to me and how Lester didn't help me a bit to fix my bldg. and if your still interested, call them and ask them if C&C Construction, who built my bldg. is still building Lester Bldgs., I would bet money that they are, which shows how much Lester Bldgs. really cares about their product.
