Provided by YP.comI have had two positive experiences with the repair center.
1st: I bought a dishwasher from the scratch and dent sears store next door. It broke down under warranty. For five weeks straight Sears, Inc jerked me around almost into insanity and a total of about 8 hours on the telephone. I finally went into the scratch and dent store and told them the situation at about 5pm one afternoon. The next day, there was a tech at my house fixing the dishwasher. The repair center had sent a tech down to another store and took the needed part off a floor model!
2nd: my 15 year old dryer stopped working last week. I thought I had it narrowed down to what the problem was and went to the repair center to see if they had one and was hoping there was someone knowledgeable enough to help me determine if I was going in the right direction. The girl at the desk was very helpful, but as I asked other questions that were beyond her knowledge base, she actually went and got a tech out of the back for me. I had not even asked for that! With the tech's help and the information I gave him we were quickly able to confirm the problem. They were out of stock of the thermostat I needed; the tech actually then went to his service van to see if he had one on there. After that the girl at the counter and the tech suggested two different places that might have the part. One of them did and I had my dryer working that night.

Provided by YP.comHorrible, terrifying experience here and at their drop off center at Newington, CT. I dropped off my lawn mower for a tune up April 15, 2011. After I got it back early May, it was harder to start than before, and got worse after using it twice and then could not start at all the third time. Since then it was repeatedly sent back on a recall 4 more times between June and early August, because every time when they said it was fixed, it was NOT! Eventually their repair center (this was apparently a drop off outlet) told us that the reason for the trouble was that motor was damaged because user did not add enough oil. Wait a minute, it was sent in for tune up which included replacing oil and now they were saying it was user error?? So I eventually got in touch with the repair center in MA, where the mangers was not apologetic at all, but instead accused me of trying to get a new mower for free! I then tried to cell Newington CT Sears outlet, for 5 times in a row, no one picked up. For the 6th time, a lady said, can you hold? Then no one talked to me for 15 minutes and connection broke off. I have called another zillion times, no one answers. I will never go back there again. It’s like Hell here.
