Not surprised by all of the terrible reviews. This is the most unprofessional "business" I've ever seen. I was in newland in a company vehicle for work and got stuck on a road (trice lane to be exact) and this guy was the only person roadside assistance could find to help me. They do a 3 way call with him on the line so he can get my location. After 10 minutes of him arguing with me telling me that I was not where I said I was, I had to knock on a neighbors door to have him tell this guy that I was in fact where I told him I was. He kept saying to me that he owns all of trice lane and that if I was there he would know. I gave him turn by turn directions on how I got there and he still did not believe me. It was ridiculous. He also was bad mouthing me on the call after he thought I hung up saying that I had no business being up there on his "private property" and that he didn't know why I was even there, etc. like this has anything to do with him and his supposed towing service. He gave me the third degree about why I was there, although it was none of his business. I explained to him that I was there doing an in home visit for a customer, and he still continued to chastise me for no reason. He shows up from around the corner in a random sedan and no tow truck. The neighbor ended up just backing my van all the way down the hill to the road. He then says that his parents are gonna freak out when they get home and see that the poor mixture of wet gravel and mud in their front yard was not as neat as it was before I got stuck and tried to get out on my own without calling the local "bud's tow service". Does this even sound legitimate? Had the nerve to say we needed to pay him to "fix" their driveway. My suggestion to him would be to pave it, and my suggestion to you would be to walk before calling this guy.

Unnecessary Charges and Rude people.

There were a bunch of unnecessary charges. He charged me twice the amount of filling up the gas tank. Which is approximately $60. This just is not the right type of environment for anyone to be around. He was nasty, rude, and just plain mean.

HORRIBLE

NEVER EVER RENT A U-HAUL FROM THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!!

They are not the kind of people you want to deal with if you expect to have service when you requested it. We called and set up an appointment to rent our U-haul the guy shows up almost 30 min later then our scheduled time and instead of speaking to us , he chooses to completely ignore us and do other non important tasks around the shops dirty lot. Then when we came back to return the U-haul he again showed up 30 min late and completely ignored us. He took the keys that we had left in the U-haul as instructed and started it he proceeded to walk into the shop and sit and wait 15min. After the 15 min of waiting and no speaking he comes out and explains that we now had to pay a $43 dollar fine because the Gas tanks indicator , (after the U-haul had been on for 15 min ) was a small notch below full and the contract we signed said we must pay it if we had not met the requirements of the lesser.

The truck did work fine and did the job we needed it to do but the employees lack of anything worth calling customer service makes me say NEVER ever deal will Buds.

Horrible, rude, nasty, bad attitude, and morally wrong.

I used a rental truck from Buds a couple months ago. I was supposed to have the truck by a certain time. The guy in charge of that was an hour late. I used it on a Saturday morning. He said that I would have to bring it back Monday because he didn't "want to get back out". Which means I would have had to pay 3 days of use, when I only used it once.

The agreement said that I should bring it back with a full tank. But before I was handed the keys, the guy went outside and started the vehicle and left it running for about 15 min. After using up the fuel, he handed me the keys. So I get the truck half empty. But when I bring it back, I fill it up completely. I had to wait on him to come to his office so I could give him the keys back for about 1 1/2 hours. When he finally gets there, he turns on the truck, again, and goes back inside. He comes back out, a whole 20 minutes later, and THEN checks the gas tank. He has the nerve to say that I didn't fill it up. That I barely have a half of a tank. He said that I was going to have to pay $43 just because HE left it running and used up all the gas.

After I tell him that HE's the one who left it running, the fat slob just walked back into his office sat in the chair and started whining that he's right and I'm wrong.

After a while of his fat ugly mouth lying, I took the truck back out and filled it up again.

It ended up costing me $170. Which is $50 more than it was supposed to.

If you have another Auto center you can go to, choose it. What ever you do, do NOT choose this one. He is a fat, ugly, stingy, and smelly slob, who will take your money and give you trash.
