Regions has a predatory fee policy. I once had about a 60 dollar overdraft composed of about 8 5-10 dollar debit card withdrawals. I was charged fees of 280 dollars=8x35. I spoke with the manager who then lectured me, in an arrogant tone about how I should keep track of my balance. I told him that I was not willing to listen to this, that when I paid 280 dollars to his company for doing nothing, I expected thanks, not an arrogant lecture. He continued lecturing me and the conversation was very unpleasant.

This is not the first time I have experienced bad service from them. I was once overseas and they closed my debit card because of some technical glitch. I could not get them to open it again without me coming to the branch office. The fact that I was 2500 miles away did not affect them. And there are other stories.

The moral: stay away from Regions. They are predatory, arroagant, and generally unhelpful.

Btw I sent a written compalint to Regions headquarters. I never got a reply.
