I believe in treating my patients like family. No one ever WANTS to see a neurosurgeon, so I try and make the encounter as easy and smooth as possible. Although the principle is simple, I take the time to listen to each and every one of my patients, and make sure they have a chance to ask ALL of their questions. Neurosurgery, and spine surgery, is not for everyone. The trick is knowing when it can help, and when to offer a patient an alternative to surgery.
