I love this little shop! I have several of their dresses, skirts, pants, and tops. Super comfortable, pretty, great fit, & terrific clothing for travel. The fabric is great ~ beautiful prints ~ and easy to wash & dry.

Horrible moral and professional ethics...from the employees and owners!!!



My mother and I thought it would be a great idea to take a drive down to the city of New Port Beach, to enjoy the beautiful weather, food and shopping. We came across Amore clothing store, and throughout our shopping experience enjoyed it. We left satisfied spending over $200.00, walked to our car, dropped off our bags and continued for a walk to the beach. About thirty minutes later, we walked back for more shopping on the opposite side of the street. Out of nowhere, the cashier of Amore runs across the street in our direction and verbally attacks us. Publicly humiliating us, making claims of stealing a bible cover. As shes continues to rank consistently asking other store owners, and by standings to call the police we again asked her to calm down because we had no interest or need to steal anything. Also asking her if she made a mistake by not taking this item out of our bags when asked to at the register, as shes in full control of what goes in or out before handing all wrapped items once purchased. Full of misplaced emotions she continued to make allegations of wrong doing on our behalf. As we waiting for the police, my mother and I continued to feel this ora of negative judgment , we have never been through anything so humiliating as we gave one another positive comfort. The police finally arrived, gathering all statements, and after hours of emotions subsiding the cashier of Amore then admits after this whole unnecessary ordeal, to forgetting to take the $20.00 plastic bible cover. We received an apology from the New Port Beach police for having to deal with a simple misunderstanding, blown out of proportion by the cashier, but never one from the cashier herself or owner of the store, getting the same verbal lashing and unprofessional assumption. We later found out through the police that the store has has history of burglary, which still has no merit for racial profiling. The store as a whole employees and owners need to learn better professional class and respect for human beings as a whole, we were never calmly approached, instead initially attacked, Amore should find an experienced, more coherent employee to run the store, and someone with basic respect for human beings. With all that said, our experience at Amore was very distasteful, items will be returned for full refund and we will never shop or support a company without good moral and professional ethics.
