Provided by YP.comI agree Lido Consignment is a great store. I consigned my late Grandmothers entire estate. I felt I was treated fair and honestly. The stuff that didn't sell I gave to my daughter. Out of the 25 or so items I dropped off 22 Sold. Nuff Said. I did recieve 4 checks total and I'm pretty happy with that. Oh, just a tip, Otega's Delivery Service is the best. Trust worthy, expierenced and most of all HONEST.

Provided by YP.comJUST FOR THE RECORD, I find it so sad a few bad apples leave these nasty reviews. I have been consigning with Lido consignment ever since they started on the Brickway. THIS CONSIGNMENT STORE HAS BECOME A STAPLE IN THE COMMUNITY OF NEWPORT BEACH. I imagine that corner spot on PCH ISN'T CHEAP. So think about, no really think ABOUT IT. NO BUSINESS WOULD BE IN BUSINESS FOR THAT LONG WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. I'd rather use Lido Consignment, Rather then Home Consignment, or even The Find Consignments and i can tell you why. Home Consignment hasa bunch of MADE IN CHINA CRAP that gets shipped in boxes and put together at the store. The Find consignment on the other hand is WAY OVER PRICED, Clutter to the max, they have great furniture, but the fun is takin out of the whole expierence becasue they (The Find Consignments) want to charge close if not more than the consignment is worth at retail. I have consigned at all 3 of these shops and I found Lido to be the best out of the 3.

Provided by YP.comBEWARE! These people are thieves especially the owner - Susan Landon. We put tens of thousands of dollars worth of antiques, paintings, furniture and decorative items into this god-forsaken place when we retired on the basis of what it looked like - what a mistake! They sold a few items then told us that even though they had sold everything, it was now theirs as the three month contract had run out (did not inform us). These people should not be allowed to trade in a decent neighborhood and all Buyers should understand the morality (or lack of it) of buying stolen goods.

Provided by YP.comIf you ever shake hands with these people, when you get your hand back I'd count my rings ............and my fingers.
Good luck getting paid or being told the truth. Dropped my furniture off in January, it's June 1, and I can't get a check out of them. Everything was sold a long time ago - and they won't show a receipt proving the price they received, either.
When I recently asked why they haven't sent a check, they replied in an email last week, "I need your address as your contract is complete and no longer in the system." I can't even believe that one...how can the contract be complete when they haven't paid you for your furniture?
Based upon my experience with these people, I would seriously question the validity of any good reviews. As of today, June 1, still no check. Oh, watch out for the lady who calls you "Hon".
