North Elementary serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through fourth grade. The school s facilities include a computer laboratory, art room, music room, and library and media center. North Elementary has a parent-teacher organization that provides planning and implementation for a variety of fundraising activities and events for the benefit of school. It offers educational classes in various subjects, such as special education, speech, language arts, math, science, social studies, reading and physical education. The school has a team of counselors that assists students in the process of growing physically, socially and educationally. North Elementary is a part of Jefferson School District. The school is located in Newport, Mich.
