The most PAINFUL braiding experience I’ve ever had. I went into the business 2 weeks prior to book my appt and show Agnes the length of my hair (because it’s longer and I usually have to pay more) and she gave me the price of $200. The day of my appt once I was already in the chair she proceeds to tell me $250 because of the length of my hair and I told her that’s not what we had discussed prior. I decided to continue because I needed my hair done. The way she gripped my hair at the scalp was EXTREMELY tight and when I told her she was hurting she just kept telling me it was because my hair was long. So Agnes would braid the hair halfway and then a younger woman (maybe the daughter) would come and finish the halfway braids and literally she pulled my hair to finish the braid that I had to place my hand on every single braid to keep her from pulling it from scalp. I have had box braids several times and NEVER EXPERIENCED this kind of pain. My normal braider was out of town so I booked at this place but trust me when I say NEVER AGAIN!!!

Been coming to Agnes for at least the past 7 years! Always professional.. never had any issues. I have witnessed some customers attempt to take advantage of her and her services, however she remains professional.

Hi, I would first like to state that I had been coming here for two years and at first, I never had a problem. They usually did good work for a low price. Went there over Memorial Day weekend since my husband was getting a military award that same week and I was going to get crochet braids. I had never done these forms of braids before so I got about 6 packs because others had said that's usually the best number to start at and if I needed more, then I could just buy some more. Well, a friend, her mother and I had made appointments to ALL get our hair done. She was an hour backed up and asked us to come at one, okay fine we come at one. Then when she did my hair she didn't finish the back, asked her to finish the back and she never did nor did she tell me she didn't finish it until SOMEONE else told me and I paid full price. Horrible service never again. All she had to do was tell me and I could've bought more hair nearby very quickly it was no problem. So upset and feel betrayed.
