Operational since 1943, The Mission of the Center for Child & Family provides counseling programs and support services. Based in Hampton, Va., The Center has three program departments that offer programs, such as behavioral health services, child and family connection as well as consumer credit counseling services of Hampton roads. Its behavioral health services include mental health therapy for children, families and adults, adult anger management prevention services, youth empowerment services, Latino outreach program and youth/adult job readiness. The Center for Child & Family Services is a partner agency of the United Way of the Virginia Peninsula and United Way of Greater Williamsburg.
