We called to advise them they put the bill in collections under the wrong person. ( Their are (2) people with the same name in the family). When we provided them paperwork from the courts to show they were wrong, They confirmed with me they received the paperwork but they DO NOT CARE. They need to get their payment. They don't care whose credit they ruin they just want money and THATS IT

I closed out an account with Cox, paid in full, last December. 3 months later, for no apparent reason, I get a bill for telephone service and equipment. I didn't have telephone service and I owned my own equipment. I called the phone number on the bill and I'm pretty sure it's just a infinite loop, no one ever answers. This company is a total joke. I would be laughing, except their incompetence is hurting my credit.
