New to the area and found Del Sol driving down the road. Very knowledgable, fun people working there, awesome prices and the beds are great. Definately a spot to check out.

My daughter and I love tanning Del Sol. We will be long time customers. The place is clean, inviting, relaxing and fun.

I too am long time tanner at this salon and enjoy going there. The beds r great, its clean and everyone there is fun and friendly.

I tan at del SOL tanning salon and I read the most recent reviews with great concern. I can't believe that people in our society still judge others by the way they look. Obviously, the person who wrote the scathing remarks about the "long haired biker type" is the type of person who still judges people by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character. The reviewer seems to be intelligent enough, and capable of writing helpful remarks rather than spewing venom. I find the people at del SOL to be the exact opposite of what was described. I wanted to buy lotion, and they took the time to ask me questions about past tanning experiences, They even suggest a lotion that cost less than the one I was considering. The tanning beds are clean and well maintained, as well as the salon. In the past there were only teenagers on staff; it's good to see adult faces. I highly recommend del SOL Tanning. They still have the best prices around.

I am reposting my first review, that they apparently got removed to hide something. STAY AWAY, Delsol has gone down hill with recent changes in ownership or staff, not sure what happened, but the people that were there until the end of the summer did a fantastic job, place clean, great staff, these new people god help us if they are new owners, there is no customer service, the place is dirty and nasty. The guy that sits at the counter is intimidating, I dont want to see a biker when I come in, I know this must hav changed hands somewhere at the end of summer. The prior owner would never have let this place go down hill, will take my long term tanning across the street. I am very disappointed. ...................... maybe they will learn from this post instead of attempting to hide it by having it removed.

My wife and I both tan here and LOVE the experience every time we go in. Everyone there takes the time to remeber our names and even which beds we like to use. Just because one of the new managers or owners is a guy with long hair doesn't make him unfit to be a business man...in fact he's funny as hell. We will continue to refer our friends here.

I love tanning here, employees are knowledgable, friendly, and it is always a pleasure to go.

This is the best tanning salon in Newport news . Bugs hot beds spotless the place has been completely remodeled. The newer owner is outstanding. The staff is excellent, friendly knowledgable but best of all, they know each and every customer. Prices are the cheapest in the area. I was tired of paying high prices for fancy plastic beds. New or old beds doesn't make a difference same bulbs same electricity gets the same tan. You want to go somewhere affordable and clean and friendly go see them at del sol

I'd like to let everyone know del sol is a changing salon, we're under new management and the place has changed and is changing everyday!the employees are still nice as ever!they have great daily specials going on now!like buy one month get one free!also they do spray tanning!!its awesome!check it out!!!

The salon is nice and people are very friendly. Beds are pretty good as well. Good strong bulbs. The only downside is the facility needs some "in-depth" cleaning. Not all rooms have fans either. All in all a good tanning establishment.
