I have never lived in a place as awful as this! The only thing the management (including at the corporate level) cares about is getting your money. In the past 2 years we have had so many issues! We have finally had enough when we got orders to be stationed in a few months so have decided to wait it out and provide info to the RPP & housing dept on post.



We have been without heat and air for a total of 12 weeks in the winter of 2010 and spring and fall of 2011, with more than a dozen visits from the maintenance crew. No resolution even after we filed a complaint with the BBB, which went unanswered. You can look this up it should remain on file until about 2014.



We have had 2 security issues: One attempted robbery in which the perpetrator was directly under a broken security light in the back of the townhouses. It is so dark that I walked right up on the scene while robbery was taking place and couldn't see the person until they spoke. I reported this to the police, whom couldn't do anything as I couldn't ID anyone or provide a description. I also reported this to management asking they repair the light which has never been done and it has been 7 months. There also was a shooting in the parking lot under yet another security light that does not work.



We live in an exterior townhouse and the wall is cracked, separated now by an inch and falling down. (It is continually growing too so is even worse than the picture shown.) It has gotten worse since the earthquake and we now have severe cracking inside the home also. Thus far we have yet to see HPT send anyone out to inspect the safety of this structure.



They are over charging us for our water bill. They were sued in June of 2011 by another tenant and lost. They had to pay the tenant back the charges they collected and were scolded by the judge!



Due to plumbing not being lined up correctly, there was a recurring leak that damaged our carpeting and furniture. It took them over a month to get the carpet people out all the while mold is growing in the carpet. AND they never fixed the leak. I had to finally place a flexible plastic cover into one pipe and around the other to catch the water and keep it from leaking out!



I could go on and on but am running out of allotted characters allowed for this review.



I have to say there is NO integrity within the management of this organization. They should be held accountable but it is next to impossible to do aside of taking them to court! I cannot stress to you enough to TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! Our experience in not an isolated one. You could knock on almost any door and the neighbors could share their horror stories that are very similar to mine.



If I could give this rating a negative one I would for sure. But the requirement is for at least one star so I must give that.



Please run away from this place as fast as you can. There is no convenience or price worth renting here! RUN AWAY!!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!
