Had my hair done there yesterday, and I've already made an appt for someone else to fix it tomorrrow. The shop is filthy - I figured they wanted to concentrate more on braiding than decorating - but they concentrate more on gossiping in whatever language it is they speak than braiding. VERY unprofessional! It took almost ten minutes to convey what I wanted vs what they wanted to do, they wanted me to have micros since they cost more, & when I stuck to my guns about it, they talked about me in their language. Anyway, I have to have it redone because these braids are about to separate my scalp from my skull. I have to keep it tied up else endure the pain. I've had box braids before, and they didn't hurt like these do. They want you to pay up front so when they screw up they don't have to give you all of your money back. I just cut my losses because I didn't feel like hearing them argue in their language. BTW, as of this review, 6 braids have fallen out and another is hanging by a strand

so to piggy back on what another person said...yes they have roaches yes it doesnt look clean in there at all ...not decorated it looks thrown together..it seems as if they dont care about how it looks..nothing to read..but i had my iphone so i was good they braid well...down side is they dont speak english very well..and i mentioned to them not to do it tight but they seemed to not understand that..my hair looks great though not gonna lie but i just wish it was cleaner inside..and i wish they were FRIENDLY they seemed rude

I had my hair done here a couple of days ago. The inside is really dirty, & they are unprofessionally disorganized. They have no courtesy for the customers with their uncomfortable chairs, lack of magazines, annoying african videos, & loud children that interrupt the braiders frequently. They take breaks whenever they feel like it no matter how long you have been sitting there. Make sure you come prepared & I suggest you bring a fully charged cell phone & a video ipod! I also saw a total of 3 roaches. =/ But overall I give this business 3 stars because of the quality braid job. & everybody that came in walked out looking good, I will give them that. So, yes get your hair done here, but be prepared or you will suffer.
