O.k.......! this place is great.... and ima tell you why....!



I was clueless about riding bikes. the sales man was so friendly, patient and informative. he informed me on what I needed to know about bikes and riding so I can make a good decision in choosing a bike. I chose a bike I can afford at the time anyway. I road the bike for a few weeks and realized that I needed a more capable modern bike. the manager offered me a trade in with a few extra bucks. he gave me full value for my old bike.

my experience with this place made me fell that these people are more interest in looking out for my best interest instead of just selling me something and taking my money for a quick sale.......! I would advise any one looking for a bike to buy from this place.

A great selection, friendly and warm environment with wonderful staff and just a great all-around store to visit. I highly recommend Conte's if you are an old time biker or new to the sport.



An absolutely great place to go!

This store has a fantastic crew from the owner and long time cyclist Walter Gardner, to enthusiastic Sandy Protich to their top mechanic Robert Miller and last, but not least store mascot - Sammie. This is the largest store in Newport News and the place to go for a cruiser, hybrid, road bike or off-road mountain bike. Whether you are a recreational rider or wishing you could go pro - Conte's is the place to go.
