The Charles River Country Club s course was built in 1921 and designed by Donald Ross. In 1946, William Mitchell redesigned the course. Located in Newton Centre, Mass., the private 18-hole golf course is surrounded by trees and offers tight fairways, small rolling hills and a few sand bunkers. The club enforces a strict dress code of no denim, collared shirts and Bermuda shorts are required. The golf season is from April 1 through December 15.
