Went looking for wedding dresses with my daughter for the first time this weekend. La Sposa was our first stop and we were back by the end of the day to make a purchase! Margherita is very knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about what she does. She also has unique dresses that you don't see at other bridal salons. We are absolutely thrilled with the dress and look forward to continue to work with Margherita.

Marguerite the owner was very helpful. She understood what I was looking for quickly and helped us select a very unusual dress made of Italian lace. Although I did not end up buying dress after sleeping on the decision, I felt compelled to write this review. She really cares about her customers and about the outcome. She went out of her way to help us and see that we were satisfied. She has been in this industry for several decades and really knows what she is doing. I would not hesitate to go there again.

La Sposa saved my daughter's wedding! We had received a defective Watters WToo dress from a discount wholesaler in North Carolina. We went to La Sposa hoping to find a new gown. Margherita not only had the exact style of dress that my daughter adored, but she was able to order it in her size, with less than 2 months until the wedding. It came in 3 weeks before the big day, and Margherita altered it to fit beautifully, even changing the lace top to match my daughter's preferences. The bustling was beautiful, and everyone complimented the dress. My daughter felt and looked fantastic! Margherita even worked over the weekend to make sure she would be able to get the dress in on time. My daughter was so sad before she met her, and so happy afterward. It is a small shop, but the customer service is great. Her dress had all the labels, and tags.

I found my dream gown at another shop, but didn 't like their customer service so I called La Sposa to see if they could order it for me. They did and it made all the difference! Margherita, the owner, was wonderful to work with and always made me feel like a member of her family. She and her staff are so attentive that no matter how many customers were in the shop, I always felt like the only one. As far as the quality of the alterations, you don't get any better than La Sposa. The bustle on my gown required 14 sets of ties, which Margherita did herself. She even spent the night before I picked it up, tying and retying them to make sure all the fabric bunched and fell perfectly for my special day. If you want a shop owner who cares as much about your dress as you do, La Sposa Bridal is the place for you!

? IT IS NOT WORTH THE TRIP ?I strongly suggest you stay away, unless you have CASH and plenty of it. I have been in the bridal business for many years and I have worked every aspect of the business. I would never let a garment out the door until it was up to complete satisfaction to the customer & me. I was honored to assist any bride and her maids to make that one fabulous day a lifetime experience. If they did not buy from me, I counseled them where they could find just what they were looking for. Who does the actual alterations? All the BUTTONS, HOOKS & EYES are removed and not replaced. There is a purpose for these items, here they are considered to be time consuming to remove and replace. THEY DO NOT PRESS THE ALTERED GARMENT! If you need to pay for a high-pressure sale, BUYER BEWARE, REMEMBER IT IS YOUR DAY,YOUR MONEY! P.S. just try to pay off your balance or your alterations with a credit card or check, you will get an education of a lifetime.
