Provided by YP.comI’ve been getting my hair cut by the same barber in New York since 1972, so when I changed jobs and stopped going to NY I was nervous about letting someone new mess with my head. I work near Salvi’s and peeked in the window several times but didn’t have the nerve to go in until the mirror told me I couldn’t put it off any longer. I called first and spoke with the owner (John) to see if they did layer cuts and at what price (yes, and $14 for short hair). During lunch I stopped in and the place was busy. I was told to write my name on “the board” and folks were called in order. While I was waiting, I observed the female barber Jessica do layer cuts on two of her clients. The cuts looked excellent and I made up my mind that she was the one that would be cutting my hair. I was not disappointed. She listened to what I wanted, took her time and checked in for feedback at several points during the cut. I was VERY satisfied with her work and would highly recommend her as a barber. This is a real neighborhood barber shop. The atmosphere was as good as the cut.
