This gym has been going throug...

This gym has been going through a consistent transformation in a good way. They have added a lot of new classes and have upgraded and added more equipment. Their classes are great! Kickboxing is " incredible" and spin class is a blast. The staff is friendly and the trainers are in fantastic shape... whish is motivating to see. I would definitely recomment checking out this gym.

FITNESS NATION'S "NO CONTRACT"...

FITNESS NATION'S "NO CONTRACT" GIMMICK IS A SCAM & THIS GYM IS FILTHY. I joined this gym because it is 24 hours. Upon joining, they stated that there were no contracts, you just need to pay the first and last month of membership (and enrollment fee). If you would like to cancel, all you need to do is give them 30 days notice. I started working out at this gym and soon realized how filthy it is. There is one old, dirty, blue mat on the floor that everyone uses to stretch and for calisthenics. It is NEVER cleaned. The gym itself is stuffy and smelled so bad one day, that I had to leave. The bathrooms are equal to a gas station restroom.... nothing is flushed and you can literally see dirt and filth everywhere. I never once saw any staff clean any machines (if they are even working). They claim to have free coffee and water available everyday. The water case is always empty leaving one water fountain that barely works. When I decided to cancel my membership, I was handed a piece of paper that instructed me to email the owner with general information, "that's it" the woman said. I specially asked when joining AND when canceling, since you require 30 days notice, that would be covered by my LAST MONTH PAID when I enrolled. Yes, she stated. I sent the ridiculous, unprofessional email and 7 days later Fitness Nation debited my account for another month. When I called the front desk asking why this happened, she kept saying, you need to give 30 days notice. Once again, I stated then why did I pay for my last month up front if you would continue to debit my account after I requested cancellation. She said I need to talk to the owners but they do not have a set schedule so I would have to wait to magically call when they were in. I was forced to cancel my credit card and dispute the last debit through my bank. I have yet to receive any type of email or phone call from the owners attempting to rectify or explain their side of the issue. Since, I have heard that numerous people ran into the same problem, meaning they continue to be debited after canceling their membership with no reply from management... FITNESS NATION IS A COMPLETE SCAM AND IF YOU JOIN BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP FOR MONTHS AFTER CANCELLATION. ALSO, PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A STAPH INFECTION. DISGUSTING AND AS NON PROFESSIONAL AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET. I am now having to take this to the BBB and Board of Heath.

Filthy Gym

Reminds me of the old fashioned gyms frequently depicted in "boxing movies." The equipment is old, most of the fans on the treadmills do not work; those that do work are encrusted in dust and dirt. Most of the connections to the televisions are out of order. The electrical service is insufficient to handle the surge when the gym is full and all equipment is in use; resulting in blown breakers. There is only one bathroom and no separate showers for men and women. The gym attendants are non-communicative and the owners are absentee. There are some really nice health clubs in Sussex County, don't waste your time or money on this one!
