It's hard to get good reviews out of me but Smith McCracken did such a wonderful job with my Mom's funeral it was hard to not let their great customer service go unnoticed. In a very difficult industry like they're in, dealing with people's emotions is tough, but tying in the business sense to it is even harder. The genuine staff and leadership they had available did a wonderful job catering to the sudden emotional aspect of it all - you can tell that providing an experience that's comforting to the customer is their main priority at all times. I will recommend them to everybody in the Newton, NJ area who needs their great service.- Jared Ferreira

January 2015 - I am from CT and we have some truly wonderful funeral homes in my area so my standards might be a little high, but I have never experienced what appeared to be absolutely fake sincerity, borderline rude treatment of a handicap person (like its a inconvenience and the handicap must comply with what is convenient for them) or seeing signs EVERYWHERE reminding us that they close at 9:00. I am absolutely positive that you can find a better funeral home to have your services at.
