F.A. Day Middle School provides classes in math, science, language arts and social studies to students in grades six through eight. The school s art program includes fine arts, video, drama, music and technology education. Its foreign language department offer classes in French, Italian and Spanish. F.A. Day Middle School s extracurricular activities include chorus, orchestra, acting and dance. The school offers membership for art, clay, dance, homework center, video, photography and writer's workshop clubs. It supports various sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and track and field. F.A. Day Middle School s PTO and school council assists the school on its improvement plan and educational goals. The school is governed by Newton Public Schools.
