We recently held a horseback riding birthday party and we were very disappointed with the event. After paying an excessive premium price, the farm owners handed our group over to a troop of unpaid child labor for we were "encouraged" to tip because the farm wasn't paying them. They left/allowed multiple service vehicles to park in the childrens' picnic area (a broken down grooming van and tractor), the port-a-pottys were outright filthy and to top it off the owner of the farm made a public scene by being verbally abusive in front of guests. Very clear that the owners of this farm view parties as a money grab and you are not terribly welcome on their property. The abusive behavior by the owner over a vehicle driving 10 mph in his "illegal" posted 5 mph zone on his property was extremely inappropriate and put a damper on day that should have been one filled with memories.
