Although the dress I bought for my daughter's christening is beautiful, I asked the owners to see if the matching bib and booties would possibly be available (they did not carry them in the store for me to see). They ended up ordering both the bib and the booties without my permission and charging me nearly $50. Upon receiving them, they do not even match the dress and are honestly quite ugly. When I called the shop owner, she became very short with me, told me she thought they matched the dress quite well, said I knew they were ordering everything and that she didn't know what to tell me. Needless to say, I will never be purchasing from this shop again!

I stumbled upon this review the other day and I just had to respond. I don't know how the previous review could of said the things she did. I bought my daughter's whole First Holy Communion ensemble the other day from this store and I don't know what was better the selection or the customer service. She also neglectioned to mention that there are polite teen aged young ladies that actually help to put the dresses on and a slip is available if your child is modest. I actually like that they are particular on how the dresses are handled. I know I certainly would not want to buy a dirty dress. From what I experienced the female owner of the store helps in the dress department and her husband fitted my daughter for shoes. He was no where near the dressing room. I am assuming from her review that she is not used to shopping in boutique style stores. My daughter and I could not of had a better, more enjoyable experience than we did at Tokens of Affection. I am very happy with our purchase as well as my daughter. She looks absolutely beautiful. They made my daughter feel like a little princess with all the attention. I actually purchased my older daughter's dress there and have one more to go. I wouldn't think of shopping any where else. They must be doing something right to be in business for so long. I would highly recommend this store. I know from talking to other moms that I know, they too have enjoyed shopping at this store.
