Provided by YP.comI can't speak on others experiences but I know that I find good guys knowledgeable, honest and timely. I know for a fact other mechanics wouldn't have found the the problem that one of my cars had as quickly as Roy and his guys did. Treat them with respect and they will treat you with respect. I live 20 miles from his shop but I'll go there every time. He's worth the drive.(or tow!). TR

Provided by YP.comRoy Dean verbally abused and attacked my 60 yr old father until he literally caused him to have a major heart attack, and then purposely delayed him getting medical treatment by interfering with the ambulance. He is unstable and treats his customers and employees violently and horribly. Doug is a decent human being mostly.

Provided by YP.comI am happy I went here. I called several places and they seemed to want to jump quick on my problem. I spoke to the manager at Goodguys. He told me that they would like to bring my car in and take the time to look at it and find out whats going on and figure out my best possible way to tackle the repair. Well I'm glad they did because another place told me something that would of cost me a fair amount of money to fix and that was not the problem. The manager called me to come look at my car and showed me that the cylinder head was leaking coolant into the motor. I would have to replace motor with a good used one or a rebuilt. He explained why . I completely understood . I am glad they took the time to check it out. The $80 I spent with Goodguys. Saved me over $700 from what the other guy told me. And than I still would of had to buy a motor. My car was not worth that. Thanks Goodguys I'm a customer for Life.

Provided by YP.comGOOD GUYS YES THAT IS TRULY WHAT THEY ARE. I hate putting my car in the shop but I love calling and dealing with them they are NOT out to make a quick buck or to get rich off of you. They are truly looking to have customers that keep coming back and know them as much as they will know you and your car.

Provided by YPmobileFirst of all I respect how much they try to save you money anyway they can and on top of that provide fast service to save you even more. Their work is great quality because I've come to them plenty of times now and never any problems or something they can't figure out to resolve. They recently worked on my BMW and replaced a starter. Not only did they save me money with the starter, they drove to Clarence for the gaskets so they could get my car done asap. We brought the car to them at 2pm and they had it ready by 5pm. And it would've been sooner if I got back to them right away..The BMW starter that had to be replaced I read is intricate and tedious. They really know what they're doing at Good Guys!

Provided by YP.comFrom Chicago and got stuck in Niagara falls on a Sunday. Went to their shop first thing in morning. These guys are awesome. They left what they were doing and starting working on my car right away. Roy debugged the problem and showed me what was wrong and ordered the necessary parts. Since it was going to take a while, they even gave me a ride back to my hotel. They also picked me up when the car was finished. You would think that they take benefit of the situation and charge more, but not these guys.... If anyone is stranded, just give them a call. If you live close by, even in Buffalo, you should give them a try. Very friendly, professional, and honest.

Provided by YP.comAfter 4 lovely days in Niagara Falls on both sides of the border, our van suddenly would not shift past the third gear. We drove on 35 MPH back to the hotel in Niagara Falls from Toronto. We really did not want to have to do that all the way back to VA. Checked online and saw the reviews for Good Guys so I called early Saturday morning hoping they open. The answer machine already gave me comfort since they had a phone number for stranded out-of-towners!!! Wow - can't tell you how great that was. Roy, the owner answered the phone. Told me to take it to the shop and TJ will take care of me. Once you get there, you can clearly see that the whole group really cares about their work and prioritize stranded out of towners so that they can get home. Roy arrived a little later and got started working on out van himself. Need more comfort? What is more comforting than the guy who has 20 years experience and is working on the weekend tell you that he WILL NOT LEAVE until the car is fixed? Those guys are God sent. They are not just good - they are great technically, great manners and great prices. You would think that they might jack up the price since you are stuck on a weekend 7 hour- drive from home. Not those guys. Sitting there for 4 hours, I saw them treat everybody this way. A dude came in late but just because he was from out of town, they took his car in and got it fixed by the time I was leaving. If I had to detail every good thing they did the review would be just too long. Bottom line - if you need a mechanic go there. Niagara Falls people- you are lucky! Thank you Roy, TJ and Andrea. I wish all mechanics were like this.
P.S. They open on Sat till 4 PM and will stay later for you if they had to. Roy told me that he will charge a small fee and come down at off hours for out of towners if he thinks something can be fixed without needing parts (since auto parts stores will be closed).

Provided by YP.comthis summer, my children and i were visiting my brother in niagara falls and we live 50 miles away, when all of the sudden, my car started overheating. with having 3 young children in the car, i was not sure what i should do. i called a few other shops and found good guys to be the friendliest and respectful. roy the manager found that my car had a bad radiator. so while he was replacing it while i was waited, i called a few other repair shops to see if the price he was giving me was high, because being a woman i feel like they may take advantage of me. i found his price to be very competitive and actually less than most of the places i called. thank you good guys, if i am ever in the area again, i will use you again.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I were visiting Niagara Falls for the first time on vacation. After we checked out of our hotel on a Sunday morning we saw that we had a flat tire due to a nail. I replaced it with the little spare and left in-search-of a mechanic. The shop suggested to me by AAA had a two hour back log. I found Good Guy's with my smart phone. Called them and they gave me directions. They were 8miles closer than the shop AAA suggested. The owner/proprietor took care of me. His son happened to be there, too. I chatted them up. They were very personable, friendly, polite yet professional and effective. My wife and daughter had a Subway sandwich across the street while I stood around talking and the owner fixed my flat. He really knew his stuff, too. After checking the spec's of my tire and car on the inner panel of my door, he knew that my make and model was the last one of that year which did not have a tire pressure sensor on-board. He fixed the flat (gave me the nail for our scrapbook), pressurized the tire all for under $20 and twenty minutes. I joined my girls for lunch before they were done eating their sandwiches! These guys really live up to their name.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I had just left Canada when my van started to act up! My 6 month old, 3 year old and 5 year old were stranded outside of Good Guys and with temperatures high all I found myself doing is crying! Not only was it a holiday weekend and everything was closed but I knew it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to fix my car to be able to drive home to PA, also I was expecting to have to find a hotel to stay for the night.
I went into the garage where I saw a man who has waist deep in a different van. I asked if he could please look at my van and he immediately stopped what he was doing, opened the sitting area for me and my family, and looked at my van. He was able to find the problem, repair it and send me on my way in a matter of 10-15mins! Not only that but it also was the cheapest repair job I ever had to pay for! To me and my family he was a LIFE SAVER! I have no idea what we would have done if he wasn’t there! The place is in a small town and the outside of it doesn’t do it justice! You can tell he loved what he does and if I ever needed repair again around there, they would get my business 110%!

Provided by YP.comWow I am extremly impressed with the service on my truck. I called them cause I found them on the yellow pages and they had alot of reviews all good. I went to another shop and was told that it was going to cost nearly two thousand dollars to have my car fixed. It needed a transmission so I was told. The last shop I took it to just drove it and told me that. Well I wanted a second opinion so I called these guys. They wanted to check it out and told me it was going to cost $75 to do so and if it was the transmission the would add the $75 into the repair of the transmission. well it was money well spent cause they told me it was not the transmission and it was a sensor in the transmission and parts labor and diagnose was going to be $300. I was super happy . They could have easily wacked my for $2000 but were honest enough to tell me the truth. Thank You GoodGuys I am telling everyone and will be back myself. My truck works great !!!!!

Provided by YP.comI was driving across the country with my daughter. I am a woman I had a major problem with my truck. AAA could not tell me what to do. I looked on the internet and found Goodguys and saw the reviews from other women. So I gave them a call and told them I was stranded and AAA would tow me in. My engine fuses kept blowing and there was a terrible oil smell. they took the time to check out my truck and find the problem. Which was a wire touching the frame and the transmission was running hot at highway speeds so the flushed out my cooler and put an aftermarket transmission cooler on it. I have driven over a 1000 miles now with no problems. Thank you Goodguys The name does not lie. Would highly Recomend.
