EXCELLENT FOOD !!!!! GREAT PRICES !!!!! The Shepherd's Pie is fantastic. Chicken Salad is a dream. Portions are enough for two people. I have them cook for every event and I can't wait to plan my daughters Graduation. They are truly what this area needed.

Pizza is delish! The other meals aren't bad if you're in a bind and need dinner. Prices are pretty goo for what you get.

The best thing that ever happened in Niantic/East Lyme since I've lived there (11 yrs.). The food is outstanding, the price is reasonable for what you get, the owners are super friendly and eager to please. Try it once and you will be hooked!! The menu has a great variety. It's home cooked food, fresh ingredients with a gourmet touch.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t like to throw away money. I notice all the reviews date back to when it first opened. Things have changed!!! The problem is that it has little or no quality control, and so what is delicious one day is inedible the next. For example: the same dish (rigatoni Bolognese) on 3 different days was 1) terrible (dry pasta with little sauce or meat); 2) very good with tasty sauce and generous meat; and 3) mediocre (soggy overcooked pasta with sauce that didn’t taste homemade). Chicken pot pies were on one occasion heavenly delicious; the next time the crust was like cardboard and the filling was tough, tasteless, stringy chicken with mushy vegetables and no gravy at all, just a teaspoon or two of watery broth sogging up the bottom crust. Six-inch apple pies were twice yummy; the third one was soggy-crusted and flavorless. Stuffed pork tenderloin rolls were once delicious if a bit oversalted; another time they were dry and tough. The beef burgundy sauce was wonderful the first time; the second time it was salty and tasted like canned beef stock. It seems like no one is overseeing the kitchen and making sure the quality is consistent and the product uniform. The worst part was that, when I wrote a polite letter objecting to having had to throw out $15 worth of inedible food (the 2 pot pies and an apple pie), the owners did not even feel the need to acknowledge my letter. I received absolutely NO reply. Obviously, they do not care whether their customers are satisfied or not, as long as they sell their product. I have gone back to Pasta Vita, where the quality is consistent and the food dependable.

The food is excellent. What a great atmosphere. I told all my friends about them. I'll never go anywhere else for excellent gourmet to go take out. You have to try the Beef Burgundy. It's superb.

What a terrific place! Wow. The food is so fresh and delicious. Everyone is so friendly. They truly are the best. They even have a pick-up window. Their Grand Opening is on Sunday June 12. Check it out you most certainly won't be disappointed. Try the Vodka sauce, the best I ever had. From the recent article I read back in March I have to say that they weren't being cocky. The food is tremendous.
