NEVER EVER take your special needs child to a doctor located in Niceville, Fl. During my first appointment as a new patient, he was well informed about my child with apraxia and her behavior issues that are mild, and that I have an 8 month old baby. He was aware that I will have to bring in my children for the next follow up appointments because husband cannot take off anymore days at work.He is well informed of my situation: we are a one car family, I have no friends or family here to babysit or offer help. I was in the waiting room with my girls when the nurse told me Dr. says my children are too disruptive and I have to reschedule when the kids are not with me. Apparently my baby made a couple cries because she was hungry (which I solved with a bottle) and he came out twice angry about it. Here I was stressing trying to keep them hush and they did pretty good...but not good enough for my doctor. I drove my husband to work, then drove to my appointment. One hour of driving, dragging out my kids to be rejected...right in front of one of his patients too. I cried all the way home.

Dr. McKnight is the most caring doctor I have ever had. He goes out of his way to insure your every health need is met. He was my doctor since 1989 and would still be today if he hadn't moved his practice. I fully reccommend him to anyone who can get into his practice. You will never find a better doctor than he is. To Dr. McKnight I wish you all the best and hope that all is well with your family.
