Worst customer service I've ever received!!! The owner of the company, Dennis, came to do the measurements and template himself. Original counter tops out, wall torn down, everything just as it should be. When his crew came to install the new granite tops (he was out of town), we realized he'd measured them 6 inches too short. I spoke with Dennis' foreman (who was also not at my home), who basically said, it's not our fault-you either take it how it is, or buy a new piece of granite-I'd already paid 50%. No apology, accepted no fault, no offer to remedy the situation. Then 5 minutes later, the guys on the job, walked in and told me they were leaving--Dennis had told them not to finish the job because this wasn't his fault and he wasn't going to do anything to remedy the situation. Because I was hosting a 50+ person party the next day, and needed counter tops/sink/stove desperately, I called my contractor to see what he could do to cut down what was now exposed. The contractor said he could fix the problem, but of course it would require dry wall repair, hardwood repair, new molding and paint. I called Dennis and told him I wanted the counter tops installed that day as contracted, and we would get the wall repaired. Once it was installed, I told Dennis that I wasn't going to pay the remaining 50% until I got a quote on the repair work and could deduct that from the total. And at this point things went from bad to worse... He threatened to enter my home and take back "his" counter tops if I didn't pay in full immediately. He told me I had 3 options: 1)take the granite "as is", 2)he was taking his granite back (that I'd paid 50% down), or 3)he was putting a lien on our property. Never once was there any kind of apology, reconciliation, offer to work together to get things fixed. All he did was threaten me. I wouldn't and couldn't recommend this company to anyone.
