I would strongly discourage anyone from ever patronizing the Niles Shoe Repair. I brought in two pairs of leather shoes. For repair, I was charged $20 for one pair and $30 for the other pair. Between a few hours and a few days after each repair, the shoes proceeded to tear and the repair came undone. I brought one pair back twice and the other pair back three times for the same repair. Not to mention the repairs looked absolutely terrible. Upon bringing the shoes back a third time, the owner told me that he would not attempt to repair the shoes again and claimed the rip, in the same spot as before, was unrelated to the original tear. He refused to refund any money I paid for the repairs. Take my advice and choose another shoe repair establishment that has some integrity.
