I am 60 yrs old and have always done simple repairs and maintenance, but the newer engines and equipment are more technical. For me, most of the times I order the wrong part or don't have the right tool for the job. Dave's is friendly and fast.
Usually same day service. They call back quickly and describe what need to be repaired. They charge about half of what you expect to pay. They have repaired my chain saw, riding mower and push mower. You can also purchase parts or buy new equipment there. Got lucky when I found this store.

I took my lawnmower here because the pull cord wasn't working right. They called me and told me the flywheel was broken and how much it would cost. I didn't see anything broken when I had the covers off but I thought maybe it was something I couldn't see on it. When I went to pick it up they showed me the broken flywheel. One of the "prongs" was busted off and I know it wasn't like that when I dropped it off. I am guessing they broke it when they were removing the flywheel. I decided not to say anything because I figured at least they got the mower working correctly, right? Wrong. When I got home I decided to test the mower and the pull cord is still not working right. I tried starting it and it nearly took my arm off with the cord snapping back. It gets stuck coming out and doesn't want to pull all the way out either. I should have tested it while I was there and now I'm sorry I didn't say something about the flywheel but I'm sure they would have argued with me.
