My lease was up 07/31/2016. I was fully out and cleaned up by 07/29/2016. It's now 10/10/2016 and I have yet to receive my security deposit back! I have been given the "run-around" 2 months whenever I have contacted the company in regards to my refund. "Checks in the mail", never shows. Reissued a new check to be mailed to me (at which point a $40 fee was assessed), never shows. Called the company to arrange for a check to be picked up and was told it would ready and waiting with the receptionist. Girlfriend takes off of school to pick up the check and you guessed it, "Checks not available." Wouldn't recommend DKRENTALS to my worst enemy!!!

We needed to rent a larger home for our idiot kids who moved out then came back... and found a very nice house managed by DK Rentals. We signed an agreement to rent the house, put down a $1,000 deposit and went about our business, ready to sign the lease in two weeks.



Four days later, my wife was diagnosed with Cancer. In the next 10 days, we spent over $6,000 in medical bills (that's WITH insurance) and found that we could no longer step up to a larger house.



I contacted Julie, who could not have been more understanding. They even went so far as to return our deposit, noting that they know how financially draining a severe illness can be.



Compassion in a person is a rate thing. Compassion from a company is as scarce as a Unicorn. I can't wait to get through with our current hardship - my first stop will be back to DK Rentals to see what they have available.

I rented a house from them paid my rent on time even with a gas leak for the first 3 months of my residency. Cleaned up the property and they send me a bill for 3,200 in damages when the damages existed prior to me living there. They are out to keep your deposit and they don't fix anything in a timely manner or with real professional services all bootleg maintenance. Worst company ever!! Run fast

This company is terrible. I am the owner of a condo for rent, and hired them to procure a tenant and manage my contract. After weeks of screwing around with one signed tenant, he backed out of the deal, and was able to because DK Rentals didn't get a lease signed or a proper agreement signed with his deposit. He kept his deposit, I was out the time and expense, and DK Rentals didn't seem to care in the slightest. I fired them but had to pay $900 to get out of my contract. They rendered no service, added no value, and cost me money and time. Terrible experience I'd hate to see someone else repeat.
