I've always been leery of big churches but I'm yet to find fault in this one. Visited for 6 months before committing to becoming a member and I serve in ministry. Not a perfect church but definitely amazing overall, genuine and uses your money right as well. This one review about people being rude about the rules of no kids, total nonsense. I can guarantee this review came from someone that just didn't like the rule and got offended. Silly thing to be mad about really. Some people just can't get over not having their way. And the review about noise...whaaaat? lol Anyone can watch the services live online. Please tell me if there's any disturbing noise lol

If I could say one thing about this church it's that the people are actually what makes this church amazing! I guess if you struggle with prejudice you won't like it because there are are 110 different nationalities there. For me it's amazing to watch all these different cultures somehow come together and worship God in spite of their differences. If you want a church that attempts to love people instead of criticize them, a church that goes after God instead of religion, and a church that believes the bible is still relative today, then this is the church!

The people that make up the church completely turn you off. It's hard to enjoy with the noise level and the people

I recommend the service to tho...

I recommend the service to those who do not have small children, a commitment to family worship, or a need for Christ. We were told over-and-over that our 7-yr-old and 6-mo-old sons were NOT ALLOWED into the auditorium (they call it a sanctuary). We could either watch the service on TV in the room approved for children under 6 or check them into their child-care (not legally allowed for our special-needs, out-of-state foster children). They were very aggressive as they defended their rules. We turned to leave to find a family-friendly church. When an entering Mother with an infant offered to escort us into the "cry room" for mothers with infants, we reluctantly agreed. It's too bad this woman was not there to defend us when they asked us to leave the room after one song - even though we had arranged so as to allow other mothers into the room. We had to beg to stay together to worship as a family in their facility. They were so rude, offensive and militant. They were so concerned with appearance and comfort that they could not see the need in ministering to strangers. They preferred that we leave rather than accept our SLEEPING infant into their auditorium. I've never felt so unwelcome - even in a secular environment. Had we been unbelievers, we'd have left with this as our example of Christianity. I pity the soul of the outsider who thinks this is what the Christian church is supposed to be like, who enters these doors looking for Christ.

Multi-cultural community

VWC is an awesome group of believers. The church is a mix of many cultures from over 60 nations. I have been attending for nearly 7 years and have met many close friends. There are many ways to be involved with small groups, hospitality groups, media volunteers, community outreaches, and special events. You will hear good solid Biblical teaching and a wide variety of worship styles.
