Environmental Services is a licensed Asbestos Abatement and Radon Mitigation Business. Environmental Services, Inc. was founded by Charles Schlomer, a native of Norfolk, NE, in 1996. In 2001 Environmental Services incorporated and moved into the Historic McMill Building. And finally in 2010 opened in its present location in Downtown Norfolk, Nebraska. Charles is a licensed Asbestos Inspector and School Management Planner, as well as a licensed Radon Measurement and Mitigation Specialist. ESI presently has 8 employees, but during peak season employ twice that many. Darrin, Pedro and Waylon are all skilled capenters and Asbestos Supervisors, have a combined 24 years experience in Asbestos Removal. Pedro has been with Charles since 2004 and is our lead Radon Mitigation Installer. Darrin joined ESI in 2006 and Waylon in 2011. Darrin, Pedro and Waylon are all skilled carpenters and experienced in Radon Mitigation System installations and Mold Cleanup. Environmental Services provides an essential service to the community, testing for radon, asbestos, lead and mold, as well as their removal. Duct cleaning was added to our list of services last fall.
