Jefferson Elementary School is a coeducational learning center that serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It enrolls more than 150 students annually. The school s educational programs include instruction in English, language arts, math, vocal music, art, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Jefferson Elementary School also conducts classes in computer literacy, library skills and band instruction. The school provides Title I reading, English Language Learners, after-school care, and drug and alcohol awareness programs. In addition, it offers guidance and special education services to students with special needs. Jefferson Elementary School also conducts various enrichment events and activities, including musical shows, field trips and community service projects. Located in Norfolk, Neb., it is a part of Norfolk Public Schools.
